Welcome to Harmonicon! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Harmonicon web application, including www.harmonicon.app, play.harmonicon.app, and harmonicon.app (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by Euclidean Arts & Tech LLC, a Maryland limited liability company ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Harmonicon.

Harmonicon is designed to teach music theory interactively by connecting to your MIDI piano via the browser’s MIDI API. To ensure a fair and safe environment for all users, you agree not to engage in the following prohibited conduct:

Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account immediately, without notice or liability, if you violate any of these rules, particularly regarding cheating or abusive behavior.

Harmonicon offers a free tier, a monthly subscription tier, and one-time purchases.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service—including but not limited to the game design, interactive levels, software, text, graphics, logos, and UI—are the exclusive property of Euclidean Arts & Tech LLC or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our Service without our express written consent.

Third-Party Assets: Certain assets, including specific sound effects and media, are used under license from their respective creators. Please review our Acknowledgements page for detailed attribution and licensing information regarding these third-party works.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Euclidean Arts & Tech LLC makes no warranties, whether express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service, including the performance of the browser MIDI API connection to your hardware.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Euclidean Arts & Tech LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Service. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid us in the past twelve (12) months.
